Inspect the Apple Watch before paying. Check Activation Lock, pairing, battery, screen, buttons, speaker, mic, sensors, charger, and band.
Only continue if the Apple Watch passes these major checks:
Ask the seller to unpair it from their iPhone. It must not ask for the seller’s Apple Account during setup.
The Watch should show the pairing screen. Try pairing it with your iPhone before paying if possible.
Go to Watch app → General → About after pairing. Confirm model, serial number, storage, and cellular capability.
On the Watch, go to Settings → Battery → Battery Health. Prefer higher battery health for better value.
Swipe, tap, open apps, check brightness, scratches, cracks, dead pixels, ghost touch, and screen lines.
Press the Digital Crown and side button. Test scrolling, clicking, and responsiveness.
Make a test call or voice recording if possible. Check if speaker and microphone are clear.
Check heart rate sensor, workout tracking, raise-to-wake, wrist detection, and notifications.
Place it on the charger and confirm it charges properly. Check if charging cable is original or working.
Inspect casing, screen, crown, buttons, back sensor glass, band connector, scratches, dents, and water damage signs.
Check each item before giving payment.
